For many years I enjoyed working with live, flowering plants as a hobby. I have always been fascinated by their variety of colors, fragrances, shapes, and how flowers can be both very simple and amazingly complicated at the same time. Once at the end of a long and tiring day, I visited a large flower market. Surrounded by beautiful blossoms, in peace and enchantment, I was soon fully recharged. This experience inspired me to bring this wonder to other people to enjoy through my own floral designs and creations - so, Keep On Blooming Boutique was born. My studio provides custom-designed floral art for individuals and for events and also subscriptions for regular flower deliveries to individuals and to offices. My team creates floral art to enable each customer to communicate silently over a long distance – during a serious illness, or at a time of great joy and celebration. Some customers want to say, “I love you,” while others may need to say, “Please forgive me!” With insight into the preferences and personality of the recipient as understood by our customer, the gift giver, we consider what kinds or colors of flowers may make the recipient laugh, or bring back a happy memory, speak boldly of love, or provide comfort in a time of sadness. For each customer, I find a unique way my floral design can say, “I love you more than life itself,” or “My spirit is with yours in joy or in sorrow,” or “I’m incredibly proud of you!” Before I became a florist, I was a free-lance writer and a math teacher. I enjoy sharing knowledge and seeing my students become successful. After requests from some of my clients who wanted to learn more about creating beautiful bouquets themselves, or simply enjoy the peace that working with flowers can bring, I decided to add a new service to what Keep On Blooming Boutique offers. We began offering workshops and classes in floral design and craft. Our Level One workshops cover the basics of theory, design, and mechanics and are suitable for people with no prior experience with art. Additional classes are offered on seasonal and event-focused floral art. Our workshops are great for people who want to DIY their own event arrangements or find a new passion or hobby. These workshops are offered to both individuals and as group classes sponsored by companies and other organizations. About Keep On Blooming Boutique
Beautiful flowers can add joy to happy occasions and provide comfort in sad times. They quietly communicate some of life’s most important messages – “Congratulations” – “I’m here for you” – “I love you!”Keep On Blooming Boutique offers personally crafted, custom expressions of these feelings, wishes, and promises in the form of fresh cut flower arrangements, orchids, living succulents and succulent arrangements, and artistic hand-crafted dry flower arrangements – almost like floral sculptures.
We are a studio florist operation with a greenhouse devoted to succulents, a light and humidity-controlled room for growing orchids, floral coolers to keep cut flowers fresh and beautiful, and a facility for both air and freeze drying flowers and plants.
We grow living plants in our own soil-free medium to assure the health of our plants, and to be sure the arrangements are free of insects or disease. We provide care instructions with each item, whether that is to simply add water to a fresh bouquet or details on how to take care of a live succulent or orchid.
